Even though this is an old trip, I felt the need to put up this post as I was going through ‘Cathedrals of Spain’ blog post. I had a wonderful Spain trip about two years ago – a major road trip. We drove from Madrid to Zaragoza, Barcelona, LLoret De Mar, Valencia and back. The roads and the surrounding fields and churches were such a treat to the eyes!
Though I do not remember much of the trip details, I recollect a couple of treasures we had tumbled upon. It is a great feeling when you are lost and you see something that you had never planned in the first place.
1. Patones De Arriba: We didn’t have this in our itinerary. I honestly don’t even remember how we ended up there but this was a real Spanish delight. The cobbled streets, the small houses and the churches. I remember it was slightly drizzling when we reached there and the sky was cloudy. This added to the entire grandeur of the streets and the houses.
2. Diving at LLoret De Mar: This is probably not a hidden destination for diving but I stumbled onto this only we reached the beaches . This was my first time scuba diving and hence I do not have any pictures under water. This was the best site for diving that I have come across till now. The rich coral life is abundant and the water is oh! so pretty!
I don’t remember many of the other details and places that we went to, but I do have a lot of pictures to share my travel with you folks. Good pictures bring back a lot of memories and that is what I have right now, a lot of memories about Spain.
Note to myself: Probably from next time, I need to save my itinerary as well. Till next time, please enjoy these photos 🙂
I love this picture 🙂
